HELPING BUILD THE FUTURE OF CANCER CARE AT YORK HOSPITAL. 

Macmillan has pledged to raise £2.1m to create a new ‘gold standard’ cancer support centre at York Hospital. This significant redevelopment of the hospital’s existing cancer centre is urgently needed and will revolutionise the support available to those affected by cancer in York and the surrounding area. Since the start of the pandemic the need for cancer specific services has doubled, with local people missing out on life-changing support. Together, we will change this.  

The state-of-the-art centre will provide a bespoke and welcoming space where people can receive personalised information, help with financial and practical issues, alongside support and therapies from trained professionals and volunteers, all under one roof.
