Description
"Generation Z" by Alexandre Granger is a compelling piece of contemporary art that captures the juxtaposition of historical art and modern technology. Measuring 133 cm by 93 cm, this digital print on canvas presents a thought-provoking commentary on how today's society interacts with art and culture through the lens of technology.
Alexandre Granger is a member of the Trompe-l'œil Contemporain group, a member of the Taylor Foundation and a member of the Pastellistes de France. It was at the age of 12 that his paternal grandfather placed a Critérium mechanical pencil in his hands. Many years later he still uses this Critérium which is a permanent source of inspiration.
Self-taught, over the years he has built a technique of his own and suits him. Drawing being for him the birth of any graphic work, it allows him a realistic art, not seeking to compete with reality but to offer another reading.
Explaining a painting would be a form of failure for him, he aspires to be understood at first sight. Alexandre Granger has exhibited in many cities in France, winning several awards, as well as abroad in Germany, New York in the United States and in China.
