Dine at James and Kate Mackenzie’s Michelin-starred Yorkshire pub. The Pipe and Glass is set on the South Dalton estate, in miles of beautiful countryside, this former coaching inn dates back to the 17th century and is surrounded by idyllic Yorkshire countryside.

A champion of locally sourced produce, James Mackenzie puts the spotlight back on traditional, often underused, ingredients and dishes, reflecting his interest in his surroundings and the food customs of Yorkshire. The restaurant is child-friendly and caters well for vegetarians and vegans. Unfussy, instantly recognisable dishes are meticulously prepared, packed full of flavour, and have subtle modern touches.

The Pipe and Glass is cosy, warm, and welcoming with fabulous gardens, stunning views of the Dalton Estate, and a spectacular yew tree believed to be at least 400 years old.
