Dinner for Four at Roka
Description
This prize includes a three-course menu selected by the chef with accompanying wine chosen by the sommelier.
Building on the massive success of Zuma, Rainer and Arjun acquired the site for their second restaurant, ‘Roka and Shochu Lounge’ back in 2004. The restaurant name Roka is derived from two works: Robata (RO), which is a place where everyone gathers to enjoy a meal with alcohol in a social atmosphere; and KA (KO) which stands for a burning fire, heat and warmth projecting energy and creating a welcoming social buzz. Situated in the heart of the West End on 37 Charlotte Street, London W1, the first Roka and Shochu opened in early July 2004. Roka quickly established itself as a “neighbourhood” restaurant in Fitzrovia and locations in Canary Wharf, Mayfair and Aldwych followed over the years due to its ever-increasing popularity.
